Layout of the new rekordbox looks very similar to the leaked pic and vid of the new Pio mixer

It's a new version of the DJM909 which was a 2 channel scratch/battle mixer with effects.

It looks way more like the djm400 than the 909. Maybe if it had a screen in the middle like the 909, I would agree.

Going by the leaked picture, it's going to be a direct competitor to the Z2. Will be interesting to see how the two compare.

Is anyone on the forum part of the early adopter program?

I think Serato doesn't support AMD cpu's. I would imagine if Pioneers software has the same issue it is based on Serato.

Are we expecting something to appear at BPM in Birmingham?

Jazzy Jeff introduced it as a 909 on super steroids, not just normal steroids, super steroids!!!

looks somewhere between a 909 and 400 to me. Its got the spring loaded effect switches off the 909 tho

AMD processors are unsupported in a ton of audio software due to AMD processors having issues with USB audio streaming.

It doesn't affect all AMD machines, but doesn't affect ANY intel machines, hence the reason they are unsupported.

Ok, now that Rekordbox DJ is launched, lets discuss here.

    From the website:
Our products supported from launch are:

    DDJ-RZ
    DDJ-RX
    DDJ-SZ
    DDJ-SX2
    DDJ-SX
    CDJ-2000NXS
    CDJ-2000
    CDJ-900NXS
    CDJ-900
    XDJ-1000
Notice how a few products are missing?
DJM-S9 for example. What about the two older controllers, DDJ-T1 and S1? It would make sense to include them as a way to attract users to a new software.

    Sound
Audio output to speakers, headphones, etc. (internal or external audio device)

    USB port
A USB port is used to connect a controller or a mixer
Doesn't mention a specific mixer. Does that mean ALL mixers with internal sound interfaces are supported? Basically the way TraktorPro functions in HID mode with mixers and supported CDJ's
    Denon X600 - 2x Denon SC-2000 - AKG K181DJ - NI Audio 2
