Default Camelot Wheel with sound...someone have access to Flash?

    Hi all,
I was thinking a cool little Flash app would be a camelot wheel that plays a keyboard sample on a mouse over event. Basically a vector graphic file of the camelot wheel (resolution independence FTW) that plays the appropriate key based on where the mouse hovers or clicks on the wheel. Perhaps it could be extended to play more samples than a piano via drop down list? I don't have access to a flash app (haven't checked for free ones) but was wondering if anyone here would be interested in developing something like this. I do have access to adobe illustrator and could assist on that end.
Something like this could make manual key entry a little easier. Thoughts?

One that also tells you what notes make up that key would be helpful too for those newbies looking to learn their basic scales.

That is pretty easy to do... pass me an illustrator with the wheel, the sound samples, and I'll give you an .exe or an .app

Anyway. To play a key you mean playing the scale of the key? Like for C major C D E F G H I? or some chords? Or the root key?

    Like how C major contains the notes C, D, E, F, G, A, and B

It's all good pier. I remember back when I was a kid and I'd say that in my music class and my teacher would get SO mad. Like, turn bright red and yell.

    Good times

you are aware of the draconic licensing page by the MIK people?
    http://www.harmonic-mixing.com/CommercialLicensing.aspx

i guess you could beg them for a freeware license, in order to be allowed to use what someone else has inveted ages ago. or well you could just not use the terms "camelot" and also not their "camelot notation" to be on the safe side .. or not care either way .. because they would not have a fighting chance in a court room if they would sue you about the thing you describe above. still sucks that they insist on publishing unqialified crap like that ..
