Do you have multiple mappings active?
It's easiest to isolate the problem by only having a single mapping active at the same time.

Nope. only the default. I'm doing my mapping "on top" of the default since that is the only way the option to override actions is available.
I'll try to replicate it on my s4. LED's are quite doable. Back in a little while.
For the hotcue LED's:
One Out-Assignment for every color there is with
condition m7=1
condition cue type = -
midi range 0 - 0
One Out-Assignment for every color except yellow
condition m7=1
condition cue type = cue
midi range 0 - 0
One Out-Assignment for every color except light orange
condition m7=1
condition cue type = loop
midi range 0 - 0
plus what you already have there.
...
you can probably skip the colors that the s2's factory mapping doesn't use for different hotcue types anyway.

select/set+store hotcue needs the conditions
m8=1 PLUS "m6=0"
that way the hotcue doesn't trigger when shift is held down.
Edit: addendum
Has nothing to do with the hotcues - remove the m8=1 condition from the shift button and add m6=0 to the reset button - result is that you can use the factory function of the reset button if you hold shift down.
