    Default College Party Playlist Thoughts

Hey everyone DJ Zarrow here, I just wanted to share the playlist that I have been mixing with at a few parties for my university's fraternity parties for our freshmen week here in my hometown! I know for me personally since I have only been DJing about a month and a half I had difficulty finding songs for the dance floor that had a lot of powerful bass to make the dance floor move that wasn't entirely EDM (which is almost exclusively what I listen too). I have been using this exact playlist to mix with and have had fantastic results and I wanted to share it with everyone if you're ever in need of some good music to add to your personal playlist, or if you are having difficulty finding new tracks. The tracks below are not all new with good reason; I wanted the best sounding music with the most amount of bass that would be generally recognizable by most college students. Anyways enough of the rambling here's the track list I have (not all are played but I wanted to give myself around a 5 hour playlist so I could have lots to choose from!) With the proper Cue point placements it's very easy to mix with and I have tried to provide an equal number of songs varying from 80BPM up to 150BPM so you can energize the dance floor accordingly!

P.S. Any and all constructive criticism is welcome as like I said am very new at DJing!

I knew there was something fishy about that list. What does bass have to do with it?

Add some Fetty Wap onto that list, teens nowadays love that type of music.

You know you are getting old, when you see a track from 2007 listed on a DJs playlist as a "classic'!

Good luck with your gigs Zarrow! [...and unlike my first comment, that is said in all seriousness and without any sarcasm]

That playlist will absolutely kill, but don't be afraid to experiment with some electro either. I've had some very good results with some bouncy stuff like GTA, TJR, Dillon Francis, Diplo etc.(ladies love it, and if theyre dancing, the guys will follow). And if you plan to do 5 hours (phew!) definitely stock up, better to have it and not need it. Do work!

Mate, put double the amount of tracks you expect to play in your crate, and learn how to read your crowd & swap out tunes when needed. The worse thing you can do starting out is get into "i have practised this set so this is what i am playing exactly" mindset, because when you bomb you are screwed if you don't have a Plan 'B'.
That being said, get out there and kick some ass
