Default Remix Contest - Win a RANE 57MKII & opening DJ set

    hey guys,

just wanted to share this new remix contest we launched with Atlantic records for the track "Cha Cha" by D.R.A.M.

I'm sure some of you have heard this record buzzing over the last couple months.

winning prize is a rane 57MKII and a chance to open for D.R.A.M. among a few other things.

is it just me, or does 818 mb zipped seem a little large for a stem file?

    Terms and Conditions:

Participant hereby grants representatives of D.R.A.M. an irrevocable, fully-paid, perpetual worldwide license to reproduce, edit, adapt, copyright, publish, transfer, distribute, perform, display, and use any or all of the entries, without compensation to you or any third party. Prize cash value is listed in US Dollars for reference only. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. If for any reason listed prize is unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded as a substitute. Travel and lodging expenses are not included.

Hmm... not only does this track NEED a remix, but i'm not even sure if that could save it. I listened to it, and i don't find it overly appealing, but hey, that's just me.

Not to mention the fact that anything you submit will never be yours again, along with anything it makes.

This is a pretty standard practice for remix contests, nothing particularly wrong with their terms.

ok, that makes sense then. my understanding was that STEMS were going to be about 70-100mb.

    Production, yes.

I would just hate for my name to never be associated with something that takes as long as a project such as this would.
