Looks like something that would cost $39 on Ebay
Ah... January 6th! I would have just been sobering up from Christmas/New Year at that time!
And, by "sobering up" I mean coming out of a Diabetic coma from all the chocolate and cheesecake eaten over the previous fortnight!

I think they are pretty awesomesauce. I will always have a small part in my heart for Casio. My SK-1 was the first piece of gear I ever re-engineered.
- Equipment - 2X Technics 1200, 2X Audio Technica ATLP1240, 2X XDJ700, 2X XDJ1000 MK2, Denon DNX-1100, Mixars DUO, DJM750 MK2, NI Audio 10, NI Aduio 4, Serato SL3, 4X Shure M44-7, 2X Ortofon Pro S, 2X Numark Groove Tool, Maschine MK3, Samson Carbon 49, Roland SE-02, Novation Launchcontrol, TouchOSC, Nocation Peak, Arturia MiniBrute, Korg Volca Kick, MicroKorg (Classic), NI Komplete Audio 6
If Pioneer made it, every idiot would have one. That platter is 100x better than a CDJ-2000
Seen these online a few months ago, Sarah Simms was doing stuff with em at Casio booth at different tech shows, there's tons of content on youtube, but that vid above is probably the best example/demo I've seen so far.
Denon DJ/MC6000KMK2/Launchpad S/LaunchcontrolXL/Traktor Pro 2/Bringin it since 96.
The best "Toy" Casio ever made was the VL-1 "VL Tone".
