I recently bought some Chroma Caps and cannot get the stock caps off the X1.
Anyone else have the same issue? How did you solve it?
Thank you.

I actually just came across this issue tonight, but no solution yet. I only tried for a minute though; I used a microfiber cloth and some needle nose pliers but it just kept slipping. Are your encoders like mine though, slide off with zero effort? It seems as if they'd fall right off if I were to turn the unit over and give it a little shake.
Two spoons Just place them under the knob on both sides and lift. Shouldn't take much force - try not to break chandelier.
@frankiefilth my encoders came out no problem.
@Stewe Will try this right now.
Don't forget to protect the surface plate from the spoons using a towel/cloth.
