    Default notebook help?

    i know there are a lot of computer geeks on this forum ^_^
    i was wondering if you could help me out with something..
    im trying to decipher what notebook/netbook this is :

    *im obviously not talking about the IBM thinkpad, but the one to the right of it.. silver, no touchpad, running windows media player... *

    I don't think that's a laptop. It looks like a USB monitor, but it's got the power cord looking thing on it and stuff.

    I will look around, but I think it might actually be a small tablet computer?

    thats exactly what i assumed, then after a closer look it had some dedicated buttons on the side of the screen, something you dont usually see on separate monitors.

    Most monitors actually have buttons on them for things like brightness, contrast, and power. <.<

    And I have /never/ seen a laptop wish a VGA port on the monitor.

    That being said, it could be a slate/tablet pc?

    when i said dedicated buttons, i was thinking the buttons were media buttons.. play, pause, mail, internet..

    i didnt notice your location was Maryland? what part do you live round?

    Heh. I've got a weekly radio show at UMBC (where I go to school), but that's about as far out of the bedroom as I get. If there's a goth/industrial scene in my area, I've yet to find it.

    looks like in all in one type computer of some sort, i was thinking it is something like this, expect older cause not as thin.

    @Charo: Yeah, that's def. a probability. I've been seeing a lot of those types of computers recently.
