Default Rekordbox 4.0 Multiple DJ's with a USB Hub

Does anyone know or have you tried using a USB hub on a laptop running Rekordbox 4.0?

I am wondering if you can have a party with multiple DJ's plugging thumb drives in and out of the hub while sharing the same controller and laptop/software.

Anyone tried this with RB 4.0 yet?

This would be the beginning of computers getting inside CDJs. I hope it happens someday. The original Rekordbox idea was great.

I see no reason why it wound't work. Would be best to plug the controller directly into the laptop and then the hub into another port. Should just see it as extra drives to read from.

I presume all drives were recognised by the computer just not rekordbox?

The drives are recognized in 'export' mode and dissapear when switching to 'performance'

This is what you deserve Pioneer for not inviting me to your beta party

Could you create a shortcut to the folder on the external drive and the access it through that?

You can... but the folder is sorted in that (more or less) weird rekordbox file structure which makes it very uncomfortable to navigate / search.
