    Default MIDI Keyboard recommendation

    Hey,

I would like to pick up a new MIDI keyboard, the one that I have (ion) is very basic, just keys (25) and modulation and pitch bend wheels.

It's not that I NEED a new one, rather I would like a new one, one with knobs and such so I can map parameters of my frequently used plugins in logic to.

Can anyone recommend some good ones, under £100.

Modulation & pitch bend wheels are desired, and a fair amount of knobs for me to control FX/plugins with.

Some fairly good looking Novation, AKAI and M-Audio ones crop up a lot.

    Cheers

Found this Novation Launchkey 25 - 25-Key Controller for computer and iPad https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B9QOM..._Swmlwb0C5EKEG

Looks very nice and has a good amount of knobs and buttons.

One thing, there are Play, Stop, record, buttons on the right hand side of this, does that mean I can use them to play my project in Logic? And stop and record, at the press of those buttons?

    Wait...

How the heck does that (the midi keyboard link I posted) and the new version up from it, NOT have MIDI I/O on it?

    Gotta be kidding?

I hook my current midi keyboard up to maschine so I'll need that..

I'm going to recommend the Novation SL Mk2's. They're over your budget but well worth it in my humble opinion. I got a 25 key one for bang on £100 on ebay but then I was lucky.
    Live rig: Denon Prime (5000M's)
Retired: Denon x1700, Denon SC3900's, Traktor, Technics SL1200's, my vinyl
Wish list: Some Roland Aira stuff.

Not a bad recommend. It has MIDI I/O as well, so i would get it.

I just bought the Novation Impulse 25, form Gumtree for 50GBp. So happy about that. Its got knobs, play/record buttons, and MIDI IO, so i should be good with this once i get it and set it up!
