Default Mapping vci 100 mk1 jog wheels to tractor pro

    Hi

Ive had no trouble with my set up for YEARS and now the jog wheels are going nuts. Its not the hardware as I've tried different units.

I dont scratch only want to use them to search through tracks for cueing up

it seems to go fine then the functionality switches to pitch bend. sometimes if i touch macbook track pad it revers to searching through track.

I've tried removing various mappings that seem superfluous but it only goes tits up.

can someone kindly tell me how to set up tis very basic control mapping?

    Thanks so much
    Jonathan

Each jog sends different midi notes when touched & moved on the platter and when moved on the outer jog. Normally the outer note triggers tempo bend and touching the inner platter controls scratching.

It might happen that the vci sends out a outer jog midi note, when the touch sensor is not sensitive enough. Before changing your mapping you should try to adjust the touch sensor levels on the back of the VCI.

Another reason might be an USB hub. I noticed my VCI doesn´t play nice with any hub.
