Default Live looping routine using remix decks and the loop recorder :)

    t- Chime Routine

Hi Techtools! yep, you got me, Im here on the self promo thing, but I must add this forum and site has always been an incredible resource for the way I now use Traktor so I'm keen share this here where I can freely get all doh eyed about Traktors features and discuss workflows to harness Traktor goodness

This year a few personal goals were achieved, one being my first live sampling based performance in the form of a 15min routine using Traktors loop recorder and a remix deck.

With that goal out the way I'm now working my way thru the individual tracks filming in da studio neat (as pos) versions which I'll be sharing in the coming months along side some mappings and digital dj, turntablist friendly tutorials, breaking down how Traktor can be used for the routines like the one in the vid.

With such a mixed style of dj's in this community I'm very keen to hear your thoughts

Cheers Patch, nice to see a couple of familiar names are still on the forum, are you still based in Bristol as your info suggests?

I'm part of crew that hosts open deck scratch sessions round the South, the annual Bristol meet is always super dope, multiple setups, freestyle cut sessions, dj band stuff, showcase's... even had a scratch battle a last years Bristol SSS.

If your interested check out the Super Scratch Sunday Facebook page for info on up coming events

All levels very welcome, good vibes zero ego environment, basically a group of pasty meek scratch geeks nerding out for the day

thats was pretty cool, not what i expected at all. i thought it would be some noob knocking out some stuff. quite impressed and liked the way you managed things. i need to look into the loop recorder thing, it looks interesting.

question for you, i see you have a foot pedal. can i ask which one your using?
been thinking about investing in one, but am unsure which one to get as there isn't that much info online about which one to use with a Z2.
