Default deathy - Herey by Deed

I know it's been a while since you've heard anything new musically from me... I've been moving from one continent to another, along with a lot of other major changes in my life, but now I am finally settled down enough that I can start working on music again.

Boy, does it feel good. I mean, real good. I had no idea how much I missed it.

That said, here is a small album of mashups I threw together. I am working on a more serious album of remixes that I hope to release in the near future, but not until my inner perfectionist is satisfied with every track.

Thank you for checking it out, I really hope you enjoy it!

    Tracklist:
    1. The Art of Noise - Peter Gunning for the Beat Box (deathy's Mashup)
    2. The Art of Noise vs. ELO - The News In Color (deathy's Mashup)
    3. halc & the Insert Rupee gang - September 29th (deathy's Mario & Pilotwings 64 mashup)
    4. Black Sabbath vs. Pegboard Nerds - The Mob's Confusing Rules (deathy's Mashup)

Well... for mashups, I am actually able to just let go a lot easier than full-on remixes. I get this crazy OCD about having to be overly creative with it, all original patches, beats, yadda yadda yadda. But, yeah, my perfectionism will never be completely satisfied, but more satisfied than I was with this album. There's this one spot in one of the tracks where the rhythm goes wonky and I never was able to fix that to my satisfaction. heh.

Sounds good. I'll give it a listen when I'm at my computer.

Quite looking forward to those Art of Noise remixes!

    Awesome, man, appreciate the listen!

Yeah, the Art of Noise is my original influence... a side effect of my fascination with Max Headroom in the 80s when he hit the shores over here.
