My daughter started playing with DJing with one of these....
    Stanton SCS-4DJ

It is all inclusive unit, just plug a thumb drive with mp3s in and it will analyze the tracks and list everything for you....

Random video of it from Youtube...lots out there...

I have a feeling all my post are either going into limbo land, or are all going to show up at once.

Is this a newbie thing, or what is going on?

You'll be better off with a Pioneer DDJ-SX2 or SR rather than hacking your way in with a S4. The have larger jogwheels too =)

Vestax 380 is dope but super hard to find now. I just picked up a sb2 for a small booth at my new residency. Response is amazing and its cheap ~$250
