Traktor S5 questions....

I just got the S5 a few months ago... and when I use the quarter inch jack to hook up my mic, I have to turn up the master volume up pretty high for the mic to be heard.. but then the channels/decks are super loud (not a technical term haha).. So, when I need to use the mic i have to turn up the volume and turn down the channels..

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it my mic? I know it's not a maj issue, and i'm glad that the soundcard on it is very powerful.. but it's a slight annoyance to have to mess with the levels when i want to use the mic.

Doesn't the AUX/MIC have its own volume control? Something like holding down SHIFT and using the touch strip. Have you tried that?
