    Default Problem with Serato SL1

    Greetings.

After many many years, I decided to connect my SL1 again,
but for some reason I cannot get any sound.

I am stating some facts, in order to make it easier to understand the situation.

    - I installed the latest Scratch Live version (2.5) on windows 7 professional
    - I triple-checked the connection and is all good
    - I managed to calibrate it (one channel was mono. I fixed the headshell of my 1200 and it worked)
    - I connected the Denon controller. All good
    - I can see it on device manger.
    - I can analyze and load tracks on either channels/decks

The problem is that when I start the vinyl, nothing happens.
Nothing moves on the track, as if there is no communication between vinyl and program, and (obviously) there is no sound.
The only sound I can hear is the signal sound of the vinyl, as loud as you can listen the stylus on the vinyl when you have the amp off.
However when on Internal Mode, I click on the play icon and the sound comes out with no problems.

Do you have any ideas as to what might be wrong?
Could it be the time code vinyl?
    I cannot figure it out

How do you have everything connected? You mention SL1, Technics 1200, Denon controller (?)...what's the mixer?
Do you use a Denon MC6000 mk1 with the SSL xml map?
You need to have RCA's from 1200 into your phono inputs on the SL1 (not phono inputs on the mixer/controller), then from line outpust on the SL1 into line inputs on the mixer.
    Denon X600 - 2x Denon SC-2000 - AKG K181DJ - NI Audio 2

Thanks a lot for the reply.

Problem solved. I went on REL mode and realised my 1200s rca cable where vise-versa
(I changed them with better ones 10 years ago)

    Everything is running smooth now

    Cheers!
