    Default DJM600 vs Traktor Z2

    Hi there!
I'm an owner of DJM 600 which I bought recently to use it with my x1 and audio 8 (I bought it for home use and as a back up for gigs with no mixer in the club), but today I got a offer to buy a Z2 for 200 GBP new but without activation key, and I can still return the DJM 600. All my life I've been using Pioneer DJM series, and I've played both Digital and vinyl/cds, but now I'm playing everywhere with my laptop and Traktor.
So my question is - is it ok to change from djm 600 to traktor z2? Does it worth it?

As much as i love our '600, i would go for the Z2 mate.

Ive just traded my pioneer for a Z2. Its a really nice mixer mate. Im impressed with how it feels. Nice having the dedicated filter knobs as well.

Z2 any day of the week. The 600 was great in its day but that day has passed.

I like the option of having 4 channels to mess around with, and you already have a multiple channel soundcard. Two channels sometimes just isn't enough for when you're REALLY trying to make something creative. But I like the z2 as well... I just wish they made a 4 channel version!!!

I'd go the Z2 if you can handle being on two channels. That said, you could remap the knobs on the X1 to control the gain, highs, mids and lows of decks C and D, and use the volume knobs on the Z2 in place of the usual faders, as you can get away with using macro FX units 1 and 2 on the Z2.

Would kill for a Z4, though.
