we have not published the source code yet - that may be a bit.. BUT we just finished completely re-doing a lot of code in the midi fighter utility which is now significantly more stable and has a number of features requested from people.

    Hi Ean,

thanks for the new MF Utility - any progress is good (and I'm enjoying my MidiFighters every time I'm using them). And this littel boxes could do even more, if direct programming will be possible.

Another month has past, but still no source code - why? Its not that you have to make a complete development package - just the source code and some basic documentation on github or the like (even via Email in a .zip file would do).
It can't really be that much of a problem (or did you do something bad, like using non licensed code, or locking little kitten souls inside,...?).

So, my question is still unanswered: Which year?

Shoot me an email and I can send you code - we don't have time right now to open source it fully but that is absolutely planned for the future.

I had some questions about the code. I am a developer perl/js and have been looking for a good reason to learn C/C++. Is the best way to ask questions through github issues, or email?

    Sorry for double post...

I'm trying to offer free work. I love the twister, but i really want to fix some bugs. I'm stuck using the old firmware because of bugs. I want to fix them. PLEASE answer my questions

If I could have like... a 30 minute phone call with whoever is dealing with the code, I can contribute tons of free code. I program for a living, and come up with CI/CD flows for AT&T. I develop on a raspberry pi in my free time. I would contribute a large amount of code and bug fixes to help me help you guys.

    Thanks!

    Default sys ex documentation

Slayde mentioned early in this thread that they had reverse engineered all the sysEx messages for configuring the MFT. Is this documented somewhere? I'm planning to eventually wade through the firmware code but there are only so many brain cells to spare at the moment and I think I can do what I need with the LED ladder mode (dot, bar, blendedbar) and has_detent controls. This thread
    HTML Code:
    http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthread.php?t=86691
gives me a running start at the [dot, bar, blendedbar] but if there is more info about how to configure these things available, can someone let me know?

Lastly, there was a firmware update in 2018 but the firmware in github is still from 2016. So, I guess we don't have the latest firmware in the public domain?
