Zomo MC-1000 is the best. Very capable controller if you don't mind using sync.

would the X1Mk2 not be a great, easy, natively supported fix for the main issue of tempo control here? Tempo is controllable via the encoders, and the Z1 should have the same exact sound quality as the Audio2 interface (since the Z1 is basically an Audio 2 with some knobs and faders).

Experience with NI shows otherwise (only the first version of Audio 2 has hi-quality Cirrus Logic D/A converters) mind you But, to be fair, I have seen no Z1 review that stated the sound was bad or has low otput.

to me the z1 and x1 mk2 is a great traveling setup. can be gigged on easily, no sacrifices. Add an f1 for even more fun.

Does the DJ4 have buttons for hot cues?

I was considering the Xone K2.
But I dont think I'm able to map all the functions I need into it. Particularly the crossfader.

So I'm guessing its not possible to assign hotcues to the DJ4 from its traktor layout? Or at least not easily accessible ones.
