Was serving shots and cheap vodka red bulls having a great time and realized that the guy across the room was having a better time and I wanted to do that.
I just want to play music and entertain people. The hardest part is getting people to listen.
    Got any Rihanna?

I was attending an annual event that I participate in every year. We always hired a DJ for this event. This particular year the DJ hired showed up with "1" speaker and was playing out of his cell phone. This event was held at a large fairground and had approx. 300 people attending. When you could hear the DJ it was very apparent that he was not actually doing anything and I also heard "commercials" playing!! I told my wife that this would be the last time I had to deal with that and I bought a sound system just for this annual event. I really fell for the feeling that you get when people are having a good time with the music that you are playing and it spiraled from there. Now I DJ all kind of events and love every minute of it!

I have always been fascinated by the DJ, when i was a young teenager around like 12 or 13 I would go to a sports summer camp with my relatives in Maryland (I lived in Georgia at the time so i would go during the summer) and my cousin would always play Baltimore club music (what i believe is go-go music) on his CD player at home in the morning right before we would to camp. When i started to listen to it i like what i was hearing the tempo of the music, the catchy phrases... i remember one song was like "Watch out for the big girl, Watch for the big girl." So i would tell him to burn me a CD so i can listen on my own time, thats when it all started in my subconscious mind. As I got older i got more into Hip-Hop, and R&B (mostly Southern hip hop because of where i lived) and didn't pick up Djing until i joined the military. When i got stationed in Europe that is when i started to listen to Techno and House because of the people i met and what the locals where listening too. I fell in love ever since...to answer the question of why I got into Djing...I have a love for music and sharing that music with other people. I feel music in my heart and soul, my body won't stop moving, won't stop grooving and that is when i knew that this was my passion...my calling and I thank God for this.
