    Default OSX 10.11.5 update - Don't install

    Just a warning.

    I had an OSX update available in the app store this morning, which i applied to my 11" MacBook Air.

    It downloaded & re-started the machine. But my lappy has now been "stuck" for nearly an hour saying;

    "Installing Software Update: About 13 minutes".

    A quick look at the apple forums, & there's a few people having similar problems.

    .....I'd leave this one for a few days, if i were you!

    EDIT!

    All ok now. I went out to lunch & the installation was complete when i got back.

    ....so if this happens to you, just leave it for a while.

    OSX install timers are never 100% accurate, they tend to idle for a few minutes near the end.

    No issues with 10.11.5 so far on my end, if anything it fixed some random freezes Safari was getting.
