Default Just got traktor for my birthday, one problem though.

I just got traktor for my birthday but there is a bit of a problem.
    I only have a mf3D, a twister and a launchpad. I also have a foscurite scarlett 2i2.

Unfortunately I cannot afford to get any other controllers/mixers etc.

Anyone have some ideas as to what I should do and get started with?

I know that the mf3d and twister play well with traktor, but is it possible to use all my controllers to perform a full live set?

I would love some suggestions, ideas and resources I can use to get started with traktor in general and use my controllers to perform a live set.

    Thanks

Unfortunately your Scarlett only has a pair of stereo outputs so you won't be able to monitor the next track, just the master.

Other than that there are mappings available for the Twister and 3D that give you both mixer and deck controls so you can use them like you would an all in one controller. You could get a Traktor Audio 2 and have the right kit to perform a full live set with the other tools you have.

You could create an aggregate device (if you have a Mac), or use ASIO4all to combine your internal soundcard with the 2i2 to get 2xstereo outputs (if you're using a PC).

I don't see a problem with your controllers. You've got knobs n' buttons - what more do you need? (Some faders would be nice, but if you ain't got any you ain't got any...)

There are LOADS of great mappings for the Launchpad, and the MF3D, and the MF Twister. Just find a mapping for each, import 'em, and you're away.

He needs to dive into the Controller manager and learn how to map.

He's got enough buttons and knobs to perform live.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
