    Default Das Boot

A little bit of a tribute to one of my favorite movies since I somehow came up with a sound that sounded a bit like sonar. For the record, I have no idea what the guys speaking German are saying.

    Would love your feedback.

smooth stuff, loving all the layered synths, but the mix came out a little on the quiet side.

Thx for the listen. Glad you dug it.

I think a proper mastering could probably help on the quiet side. I usually just throw KClip at the end of my 2 bus, followed by Fab-L for dithering.

I think in terms of production you absolutely nailed it sounds really cool - maybe hold back a little more on the vox clips - but if you like 'em leave 'em ; ) , nice ideas. I think the mix needs more work. And it could be a little louder.

    Gut gemacht!

Really good stuff. Love the keys and the sonar is awesome. I think the drums just need a bit of sorting in places to sit properly.

I really like it. i played it again straight after

Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed it. Still working on drum arrangements and mixing, but making progress...

Between experimenting with modular, I've got one entirely sequenced on my MPC. Think that one's going to be my fav so far...

Love the synths, vocals and original rythms. only the drum samples could use some tweaking as they sound kinda dull, especially in the intro.
