    Default Djing with 2 laptops running traktor with one audio interface (Traktor audio 10)

    Hello guys,

    my friend and I wanna play a back to back set and we wanna have our own laptops but mixing through one mixer (Xone 92). Is it possible to ues one audio interface (traktor audio 10).
    what is your opinion about back to back digital djing setup?

    You guys need to have two sound cards if you wish to route audio from a two separate computers in to one mixer.

    Simple answer no, you cannot connect 2 laptops to a single audio 10.

    You could chain 2 audio 10s together and use the passthrough (series configuration).
    You could run two interfaces and use 2 channels on the mixer each (parallel configuration)
    If you want a single audio interface you would need something like a Rane SL4 (about twice the price of an audio 10).
    Another option would be an interface with audio over ethernet capability (e.g. AVB protocol) as this gives more flexible routing than audio over usb (this would most likely be even more pricey than an SL4).
