Is FL Studio useful for DJing?

Long story short, I have an interest in finally taking my music outside of my home office and I'm trying to get a sense of what I would need to do that.

I've been using Presonus Studio One 3 to compose, arrange, and mix my songs and until I can put together a serviceable band I was thinking I could take the tracks of my songs, and do DJ sets of my material in order to start putting myself out there.

I don't own Ableton or Traktor or anything like that but I happen to have an FL Studio license and even if it's not as specifically useful for DJing as those, can anyone tell me if it's at least decent for the purposes of loading audio and midi tracks into and playing around with them live?

Not true.

Performance mode was developed to mimic that of ableton and is already auto mapped to the novation launchpad.

I've heard FL is quite usable and fun to DJ with, if it fits the mixing style you like!

Aw man. Thats like counting the pebbles of sand at the beach. There are tons of styles. You will develop your own over time. If you are on the west coast, Id be happy to do an FLStudio workshop with you.
