    Default Traktor Timecode on USB

    Quick question...

I was looking at getting a pair of XDJ-700's for using at home, but just now I use Traktor Scratch.

I've had a search online and can't seem to find a definite answer, but has anyone used the Traktor timecode from USB?

I don't need to buy full CDJ's just for using at home and thought the XDJ-700's would be ideal, if I can use timecode over USB.

    Thanks!

Yes you can use it the exact same way. Just rip the timecode track from the CD, make it an mp3, through it on the flash drive.

You can use HID mode for your purpose.

HID mode is way better. If you just want to try out the timecode for fun make sure to switch of master tempo on your xdj
