    Default How can I start?

    Hi guys,
I know that I am probably going to get a bit of hate for this but I am pretty new to this. I was just wondering what I should do. I want to make videos on YouTube of me creating music using pads ( Shawn wasabi for example). I am not sure what sort of equipment I would need to start, whether it is just a midi fighter and a computer with the software, or if I need a mic and other things to record my own sound packs etc.

I have already done a bit of research but I still don't know what the best thing to do is.
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

With daily practice, youll be a good year away from putting anything worthwhile up on youtube. Focus on actually being good at music before broadcasting it.

    also, google.

    Hey thanks for the reply,

I know I would be along way from producing like Shawn does. However I could easily take up finger drumming as I am already a drummer. I would like to know what equipment I would need to get started so I know how much it is. If you could answer this thanks so much.

I can't help thinking that there's a turntable make missing from that "very detailed" article

Technics? I'd say it shouldn't be on the list. You're either buying second hand, or paying through the nose for a turntable that's bad for scratching.
