    Default Pioneer’s PLX-500 Turntable

Thoughts on this? How are these compared to 1200s?. I do like that price point.

You can't go wrong for the price of 'em. I'm genuinely shocked at that price. This is aimed at the non-DJ's that are buying vinyl as much as it aimed at the DJ's.

I don't like the placement of the USB cable, or the power cord. It means you can't flip 'em battle style and have 'em sit flush with the mixer. Not a massive problem, just a slight niggle.

I'm not so sure about that, Snafu. We can quite easily replicate that functionality using DVS and pitched samples.

Have you seen the A-Trak/Craze vid where they map pitch+trigger to single pad? Looks like a lot of fun...

i didnt see any tables there at hanpin with midi in... and the method of mapping pitched samples has limitations. in this day we need more people making midi in tables, not more plastic bargain tables that will guaranteed make you just want a set of techs anyway....just imho
