yo what up i was wondering if any of you guys use linux any distro (red hat, fedora, ubuntu).

how do you guys like it if you do. I have it installed on my other laptop, i put xubuntu on it. its pretty cool.

i see they got some vst's on here and stuff not using it for music but thought it was cool they have stuff out for it like that.

yea my major at school is computer information systems and i figured i will get a head start on things so i started messing around with linux. once i get the hang of the command line i will switch from ubuntu to another distro.

i want to build a server also that runs linux but thats maybe next year, in the next couple months hoping to build a pc. I am trying to get a projector and just connect the pc up to that and i am straight. I never watch television any way i just surf the net and i watch my shows on the internet or download them anyway.

No Traktor or Ableton, if you stand by regular installment. You have to resort to mixxx I guess?
