Default Push knob on twister to reset value to zero in effect rack

    Hi,

I'm trying to midi map the twister in Ableton, specifically mapping it to macro controls in an effects rack.

For a particular macro control, i want to:
    1. Turn the twister knob to change the value (easy to setup)
    2. 'Push' the same twister knob to reset the value to zero

how do i add the secondary 'push' twister knob functionality to the midi map for that macro control? The midi map already shows the midi mapping for turning the knob, when i then go back into midi mapping mode and select the parameter in the rack, then 'push' the twister knob to add this i don't see a new midi map item appear... the number on the rack macro control does change though...

how do i have 2 separate midi mappings for the same macro?

You should try the 'reset encoder value' setting in the Midifighter Utility. Than you don't have to think about mapping the value to the push button since knob will reset any value mapped to your ratarry encoder.

Ah awesome - so you don't then have to create a midi mapping within ableton to do that, you simply set it in the MFU :-)

    thanks very much!
