    Default Traktor Pro Music Search.

    Hello all!

I am running in to a problem with Traktor Pro. I have all my tracks separated in to their prospective keys folders, then all those folders into a main music folder. When I discover and map the folder in Traktor and try to use the search for specific tracks it does not wanna search through the main music folder with all its sub trees. Also why does Traktor not read the whole file name. MIK4 renames the files with its key and bpm, then PN adds the _pn to the file name, but everything in Traktor just reads the song title. I am at work so i had to write this in a hurry, sorry if it does not make a lot of sense.

    Thank you!

Doesnt Traktor read the tag, not the filename?

    Default Eureka!!

Well i figured it out, if anybody else is interested keep on readin.

MIK4 can write the key into the comments, and then in traktor you can set the deck to view the comments, and in your library display you can organize it by key.

Hope that helps some one in the future.

Yep. Set MiK to overwrite the track comments and you are away laughing. In traktor 1.2 its possible to show the comments up on decks, which is cool, but not in 1.1.2 dag nabbit. Organising your playlists by key is really handy i've found.
