Default Audio routing for ableton effects

    Hi,

I'm trying to setup ableton as an effect unit in my DJ setup. I have a xone 92 where i want to use the aux channels as a Send & Return. I bought myself a traktor a6.

    My setup now:
    - the 2 S&R from the mixer go to 3/4 f 5/6 input Port in the a6
    - and from the a6 Back to the mixer

In ableton i added a audio track and the "ext in" to the Port 3/4 (fe)
    "Ext out" to return only
S&R Channel out put to 3/4

But when i Push Sound to the audio track it's immediately distorted.

    What I'm I doing wrong?
Does somebody know a good tutorial on the net, or do you know what I'm doing wrong?

    Thnx!
    Sanny

I set up something like this to be able to have effects when I play vinyl on my Z2. Your routing will be different, since the Xone will do the send and return, but I think you want an External Audio Effect on the track with the Audio To set to No Output, so that your track's output, which is effected by the effects after the External Audio Effect, goes to your A6 output.

Since I need to use my own send and return system with the Z2, I have my audio going to sends only, and the Reverb and Delay on Return tracks.
