Default 4 Channel Mixing - Soundcards?

I'm losing my mind trying to figure all of this out. Are there really limited options out there for soundcards that can handle 4 channel external mixing or am I missing something? If I want a setup using traktor that has output to an analog 4 channel mixer what are my options for soundcards? I want to be able to use any house 4 channel mixer and only need to show up with a laptop, soundcard, and my X1. Is there a better way?

    Yes.

Zomo MC-1000. Can do all that the X1 can AND has a 4-ch soundcard built in.

Dang that thing is great! Damn near perfect for what I'm looking for, the only thing I see that I might want to tweak would be the ability to save loop points. It's pretty affordable too!

Thanks big time Patch. I think I will probably be getting one of these soon.

I can't overstate enough how great this thing is. It's what has kept me DJ'ing these last couple of years. The out of the box functionality is just amazing.

Re: saving loop points - you could EASILY re-map the hot cue buttons (or even shifted-hot cue buttons) for storing loop points...

Audio 6. Yes, technically it is a 3 channel, but you can combine channels and if you have a matrix input on your mixer, give them their own channel strip

+1 i bought a zomo mc 1000 thanks to this forum and i couldn't be happier with it.
it is like a x1 but, with a sound card, also knobs have a great feel.
