    Yes. On Mountain Lion and the older macbook my system was super rock solid.
    i still have that system and just got the ram replaced so will re-install everything.

    Have u tried the DB4 with USB on newer systems though ?
    Some people are reporting very stable performance with new macs, OS, drivers etc as well.
