    Default Help With Setup

Hello all, hoping for some help with a new setup. I want to get back on the decks and am looking at using Traktor Scratch Pro 2 with the Xone:PX5, two 1210's and either a Kontrol X1 or Xone:K2. I don't want to touch the laptop while playing and will use this for allocating tracks to each deck as well as key function and further control of effects if required.

Can i do this with a single USB into my Mac using Traktor Pro 2?

You should be OK with the X:link from K1 (I'd go for K1 as it's cheaper and doesn't have an audio interface) to PX5, with USB from the PX5 to laptop. You will still need to use the laptop to search for tracks and see what's going on. Nothing wrong with that, IMO.

Check out my review of the PX5, we just published...

Thanks guys - i just want to stay away from the laptop. Is there a way to incorporate the PX5 with a single controller and 2 turntables? The goal is not to touch the laptop when mixing!

Patch - what do you mean, do you have something else in mind?
