i like to keep it simple so, my setup involves..

    Akai AMX - for well....mixing..

Midi Fighter 3d - for triggering cues, samples and various controls like scrubbing through tracks, FF, RW..etc..

Midi Fighter Twister - to control effects/loops

Razer Blade Stealth - running Serato and Mixxx in both windows and linux

    and the Hercules laptop stand

Yay! Another linux user on the forum! :-)

I use VMware for Traktor, Serato, Rekordbox, and Rekordbuddy. I haven't messed much with Mixxx, but being a D2 user, Traktor is BAE.

Midi fighters make anything look sexy!

Thanks!! Mixxx is great for what it is and ive used it for years with linux until i got the AMX and decided to try out Serato and found out it suits my work flow better, shame too as its the only reason i have windows. now if they would just port it over to the tux side i'd be set. kind of a nuisance to do everything in linux (even wrtiting music with Bitwig) and then going to another ecosystem just to DJ.

and hell yes Midi fighters make everything sexy!!
