Well, I for one, hope they eventually get their shit together. I rather like the look, feel and functionality of the SC5000s.
I just want them to have a few more features, stability and a better support system over at the forum.
Do all that and I will definitely buy a pair. I don't care if they'll ever reach "Industry Standard" status.

What features do you want added?

Mostly little things, but some bigger.....

1. The ability to dim the overall lighting, not just turn off/on the Pad Section illumination.
2. Daytime Viewing Mode (similar to what Serato did w' ITCH)
3. The ability to have more than 2.4GB per slot/port on networked players.
4. The ability to connect a laptop (akin to Rekordbox) directly to a player....a phone app would be nice too.
5. The ability to create playlists, sort/define/omit columns, and edit tags on the units themselves.
6. More (user defined) search options on the units themselves....dated added, year, genre, etc..
7. Active Loops to trigger on their own when the track reaches the loop.
8. Ability to properly Move a Loop 'backward & forward' within a track (akin to Traktor)

9. More Professional, Thicker-Skinned Forum Staff!!!!

See not too much. I mean, I'm sure if I owned a pair I would find more. A lot of these
are from reading issues that current owners have.

Wait, the search is only limited to the artist and track title tags? That would kill how I organize my music like period. I rely on being able to search genre and comments for my unique tags when playing open format sets.

You can search genre. Just not comments.

Dayuum, these things are riddled w' issues! The Denon forum is littered w' posts like these...

I'd guess the channel cue colour issue would be due to a faulty cable. I've experienced the USB database issue too, though.
