Default Allen & Heath Xone 92 with Traktor S4 - Correct Setup

Hey guys.. I am trying to buy an Allen & Heath Xone 92. I currently have a Traktor S4 and would like to know if its possible to use the Traktor S4 only for the JogWheels and nudging songs without buying CDJ's that go for 1.3K each. If this is possible what is the correct setup I would need to use both and be able to control 4 decks on the Xone 92. I currently have traktor scratch pro 2.

    Thanks.

The S4 audio interface is built in, so you won't be able to route audio to four channels.

It's possible, but as happydan pointed out, you will also need a separate 4 stereo channel audio interface like Audio 8 or 10 from which you can route audio into the 92.

So how would be the right setup if I get an audio 10 sound card? Traktor S4 connected directly to the laptop as well as the audio 10 and then the audio 10 connected to the mixer?

Yes. You would have the Audio 10 as your sound output in Traktor and the S4 as MIDI control.

So the S4 would also be connected to the MIDI section on the Audio 10?. Do you mind explaining a bit what exactly MIDI does? I am fairly new and I still don't understand well what MIDI means or does. Appreciate the help.

No, both would be connected via USB. I just mean't the S4 would be acting as only a MIDI controller.
