Default Hi I currently have a controller that needs the laptop to use with just rca's output

    Hi

I currently have a controller that needs the laptop to use with just rca's output. from the controller it is connected to a PA mixer then it connects to the speakers from trs to xlr. I am going to buy a standalone controller to use without the laptop and it does have xlr outputs. Should I connect the speakers directly to the controller or use the same PA mixer? Does the PA mixer degrade sound quality compared to the speakers connected directly to the controller?

    Thanks

If you will want to have more than just the controller as a sound source for the PA, you should keep the little mixer, but you can do it either way.
