    Default Traktor z2

I recently purchased a traktor z2 and wondering if I could plug in/play with traktor pro. I don't have enough RAM left on my old laptop to download/run skratch pro. I was wondering if I could control traktor pro with my z until I get a new laptop and download skratch pro in it.

Should be fine, though I'd be surprised if a it didn't run TSP2 if it runs TP2.

In fact, the version you get with the Z2 is Scratch anyway. If you don't use timecode, it's exactly the same software anyway.

Aside from using timecode, they are the same exact program. You should be fine running TSP. Simply adjust your latency settings to compensate for the lack of RAM.

Awesome thanks for help. I'm looking into purchasing a new laptop soon but didn't want to register my z2 to my old one. I'm not sure if there would be any problems switching between the two. Thanks again

There wont be any problems. The Traktor Serial is registered to your NI account. You are able to register to a max of two seperate devices at "once."
