Very much so. Plenty of space.

Thanks, but I was (still am) under the impression that other rotaries are more comfortable having more space between the knobs, so still not sure how the Formula feels in comparison.

I would change the channel knobs for something else. Any ideas that look good?

I guess the only way to know for sure is to try it. All I can tell you is that it's never felt cramped to me.

I'm not a massive fan of the looks either, but they are nice to use, so I've never really spent much time looking for alternatives.

Can anyone tell how FF4000 and Ecler Nuo 4.0 compare soundwise?

Is that even a question ?

    Nuo 4.0
Decent SQ, IMHO on par with Most Pioneer offerings and/or lower end A&H.

    Formula Sound
Negates the need to discuss the sound quality of mixers any further *

*With the exception of Bozak or Rane maybe.

    Touché

True, there are a "few" other mixers that could stand up to some subjective A/B testing with the FS. I don't for a second believe Elcer is one of them though
