    Default Network Switch for CDJ Pro Link?

    i tried to do some research to see what other people are using but came up dry. i really couldn't even find if i need a router, switch or hub. so i worked a massive rave last weekend and checked out what they were using, a Linksys network switch. now the exact one that they used had gigabit capabilities. however, the d link network switch i bought today, does not (200mbps). i highly doubt it matters as there isnt much data traveling from 1 cdj to the next. anyone have any experience with this?

    I use a Cisco sf110D. Got it for 20 bucks and it has never failed me.

    A switch is preferred over a router, as routers can have network management which will interfere with auto assign on the C/XDJ's.

    +1, plus hubs don't really exist and the line between switch and router is getting greyer and greyer. any reasonable switch will do the job

    Something like this should do : https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-5-Por...Desktop+Switch

    Bought one and never had a single issue using 3 or 4 XDJ 1000s at the same time with each one having its own USB stick (b2b2b2b kinda situation)

    This is the one I recently ordered;

    I haven't used it yet. Bought it as I am planning a CDJ coffin build very soon. Always been a fan of the reliability of linksys gear. I am not sure if the latest CDJs/XDJs use gigabit ethernet ports but it might help when loading WAV files over pro link to have a gigabit switch. The unit I ordered actually has a true throughput of 10Gbps which means a full 1Gbps to each port at anygiven time.
