    keep in mind hid is limited to 8 analogs per device

    most people with hid are modding playstation/xbox controllers

    I bought this. It's quite expensive but it has 32 buttons, 8 analogues and POV hat switch too. I'm still in the process of building the unit, but this HID device seems to be well made.
