Default Xone K1 Rekordbox compatability and mapping query

I currently have a DDJ-RX controller running Rekordbox DJ with a PLX-1000 going into channel 3. Since having the turntable I have deceived to ditch the controller and go vinyl!

So I'm looking to sell the DDJ RX and purchase an A&H Xone 43C and get another turntable.

But I would also like to have some way of playing all my digital library so I was thinking of getting a K1. I want to know if first of all you are able to control 2 decks within Rekordbox with a K1 going through the mixer I.e. decks 3 and 4 turntables, decks 1 and 2 digitally controlled with a K1

If this is possible I want to know if you can map this in a way where you can have abit more control over the actual track as opposed to FX. I'd like to be able to adjust the tempo up and down, not sure if this is possible with the fader on the K1 or one of the rotary knobs? And potential have a pitch bend mapped to one of the rotary knobs. Seeing as I only need 2 deck control I would use 2 of the channels per deck.

I want all the standard play/pause, cue, scroll and search, load, basic looping, a filter on each channel and maybe another effect but nothing major.

If anyone could shed some light on this and most importantly the tempo control/pitch bend that would be great!

I'm no rekordbox expert, but my understanding is that most of the software controls are MIDI mappable. You should be able to plug the K1 into the 43C via X:LINK and have it all working once it's mapped. Are you planning on being fully vinyl, or DVS?

This is what I think/hope is the case but I don't want to go and purchase over £1000 worth of new gear for it to then not work!

Only straight vinyl at the minute then if I wanted to go into DVS I understand id probably need to buy pioneers new interface to route the turntables trough.

Why not just got the Traktor route then? Traktor Pro 2 (not Scratch) will work fine as is with the 43C.

I am considering it but I already have Rekordbox with all my tracks cue'd, gridded and in folders so it would be annoying having to start from scratch!

So if I got Traktor again (used to have it) I could do this easily? Have 2 turntables (not DVS) in channels 3 and 4 and then use an Xone K1 or Kontrol X1 to control channels 1 and 2 all with just simple plug and play with maybe some mapping edit?

If I did then want to get DVS what would I have to do just upgrade the software and get one of the NI Audio boxes?

The other mixer I have been looking at is the Xone PX5 which I understand is Scratch certified so I may spent alittle extra cash and get one of those!

Personally, I'd go for the PX5 over the 43C, if you can afford it. I reviewed both for DJWORX.
