Default How to connect MF 3D to android device?

I want to use my Google Pixel as part of my portablist setup. I've plugged the MF into my phone and it lights up so that is a good sign, but I need advice on what app to use for finger drumming.

    Any tips?

Also, do I need a powered USB hub or if I have lights is that sign that it will work ok?

    Thanks.

If the lights come up and the device doesn't reboot when you press a button you should be good.

Not sure about specific apps but anything that can work with external MIDI controllers should be able to see the MF.

I've got G-Stomper Studio to work for finger drumming. I had to remap the pads, but once I found the right menu that was pretty easy. It can load up .sfz files which appears to be the only open sampler format. I'm working on a script that can convert (simple) .als files into this format.
