Default Cue (One Shot) Mapping to Traktor Remix Decks

    Hi all,

First up apologies if this is in the wrong spot.

I have been searching but haven't had any luck. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I would like to run Decks C&D in tractor as remix decks, and simple map each sample to a midi fighter button for instant (not sync'd) sample cue hits (play while button is pushed in, stop when button is released).

Is this feature even possible in tractor?

    Many thanks

I use this traktor feature all the time so it is definitely possible.

The simplest assignment to use is
Remix Deck --> Slot Retrigger (Interaction Mode = Hold, i think)

If you want to trigger specific cells instead of just the most recently activated cell use
Remix Deck --> Direct Mapping --> Slot X, Cell Y Trigger

Make sure that all samples are set to the Trigger Type "Gated" so it stops playing when the button is released. You need to expand the deck so you can see this option and then trigger the cell once to work on the sample settings.
Make sure all samples have their seperate Sync setting deactivated seperately as well.

Also make sure that each deck's Quantize Mode is set to "off" so the samples trigger regardless of phase.
