Default AMP + Speakers Set Up for a Studio?

    Hello There!

Been visiting this forum for a while. But first post : )

Wondering if it's possible for you guys to recommend an AMP plus Speakers for my small studio? It's basically a open space.

It's about 30+sqm and usually no more than 40ppl will be there at the same time. I'm using currently Pioneer SX2 and my budget is a bit tight. Aiming for no more than 800-900USD (AMP+Speakers). I guess passive speakers are not possible …

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

It's going to be limited by your budget and personal taste. Self powered is probably the way to go.

Here's a page to get you started:

    https://www.gearank.com/guides/powered-pa-speakers

You might be able to get more for your $ if you go the used route.

    Good luck!

If you can swing it - I'm a big fan of getting passive speakers vs. all in one. It's a bit more to lug around, but really let's you build out your kit down the road without having to re-buy many of the same parts.
