    Yes, it is a MK2, but not as a full product launch. They'll keep up the driver updates for a while, I think, but you can't buy new stock.

    I still use my Audio8DJ on my Mac (updated to latest OS). Although I don't have any issues, I am in the market to replace it. There seems to be a lot of newer soundcards on the market that can do better than the Audio8DJ and have better sound/latency. The cost may be higher, but I would pay that for better quality (eg RME).

    That's my sense too, though I just bought a studio sound card and am reluctant to drop bank on another (and my studio card isn't really portable). What cards are you considering?
