Basic 4 Channel Midi Controller?

So I'm looking for something to improve the mobility of my current setup and want something more portable to fill the place of my mixer.

Current setup:
Reloop RMX-80
Zomo MC-1000
Huge heavy laptop

I already got a new laptop that I'm switching over to so the next step is to find something to take the place of the mixer when going mobile. I've been considering a Xone K2 setup to function as a direct replacement for a standard 4 channel mixer but I was wondering if anyone had any different suggestions. The Reloop is great for home use when I record my weekly mixes but for shows where no 4 channel mixer is provided it's a beast to carry around.

As long as you never press down on the faders, it will last forever. There is a crapload of resistance in the channel faders, so it is a controller strictly for missing. The only real issue I have had with mine (besided one of the fader posts snapping) is the crossfader losing responsiveness at the cut in.

I didn't quite understand if you want to replace just the mixer or the Zomo too but I feel something like the Denon MC6000 mk2 would be a good choice:
- most compact, all in one, 4ch controller
- great build quality
- incredible sound quality

I'm not convinced on build quality. ....they're fine until you need to replace a crossfader, then you have to take the entire thing apart!

Not only the amount of work to do any maintenance, but the entire unit feels overly cluttered and hard to use. I almost bought one until I used one.

Build quality =/= serviceability.

Yes, the MK1 version required a staggering amount of labour to replace a single component (if I remember, 2.5h of work for crossfader replacement). Notice that this is the MK2 version which is far better in that regard (yes, still requires to open up the entire unit). Still wrong to equate that with build quality.

True, that the price you pay if you want a compact 4ch controller in a 2ch footprint.
