Default Recommend me some IEM's for the gym please.

So I cannot bare the music in my gym. It's all typical 'deep house' (I use that term advisedly) it's like being in a Top Shop for an hour, UK readers will know what that means. My current gym playlist is all Thrash Metal - the latest Jax Jones or Oliver Helden type durge doesn't inspire me to run and I need to run, I'm flabby due to way to much boozing and eating over the summer months.

I need some half decent in-ear-headphones (Ear Canal) that will isolate/cancel out the gym music which is pretty loud. My current Apple earbuds simply don't do the job and I cannot bare to use over the ear headphones in the gym.
My wife has a pair of Sony ear canal headphones that do the job 'kinda' but I want some of my own and I figure you guys will know whats' what.

Bluetooth is not important but is nice. Sports In-ear type is fine. No need for waterproof.

Now, I hate reading this next bit when other post it but... I don't wanna break the bank. They are just for the gym, not DJ'ing. Budget is around £60. I know this won't buy anything earth shattering.

What are you using that literally cancel the whole world out and/or are stupidly loud.

I bow to your superior knowledge oh DJTechTools faithful

I got a pair of Sony XBA-S65's for around 50 quid for your exact purpose - they are not "bass heavy" headphones. They have a pretty similar signature to the MDR-V6. Rock and metal sounds AWESOME on them.

Balanced Armature driver, Isolation and bass is top notch once you get them in your ears properly and they secure very well. Also they are waterproof / sweatproof (run them under the tap when you are done).

One of the few earbuds that sound just perfect for most music with a flat EQ

Hope you fare better with the gym routine than me

    I loved my Jaybirds. https://jaybirdsport.com/en-us

I dont know what their distribution is like in the UK, but they're super comfortable. Lots of fit options, and good overall sound.

I use my IE8 when running. Works pretty well.

Cheers guys. I decided that I needed to increase my budget so I ended up getting the Jaybird X3's.
They are brilliant and totally do everything I wanted.
